– Me duele mucho una muela. ¿Qué puedo hacer? | I have a very painful tooth. What can I do?
– Tengo un dolor de muela muy fuerte. ¿Qué puede ser? (I have a very strong toothache. What can it be?)
– ¿Me puede hacer una limpieza dental? (Can you do a dental cleaning for me?)
– ¿Qué tipo de anestesia va a usar? (What type of anesthesia are you going to use?)
– ¿Cuánto tiempo va a durar el tratamiento? (How long is the treatment going to last?)
– ¿Qué cuidados debo tener después de la intervención? (What care should I have after the intervention?)
– ¿Me puede dar una receta para el antibiótico? (Can you give me a prescription for the antibiotic?)

– Abra la boca, por favor. (Open your mouth, please.)
– Voy a examinar las encías y los dientes. | I’m going to examine your gums and teeth.
– Tiene una carie en la muela. Voy a tener que empastarla. (You have a cavity in the tooth. I will have to fill it.)
– Tiene una carie en el molar inferior izquierda. | You have a cavity in the lower left molar.
– Le voy a hacer una limpieza dental/ general. | I’m going to do a dental cleaning for you.
– No se preocupe, no le va a doler nada. (Don’t worry, it won’t hurt at all.)
– Voy a aplicarle un poco de anestesia local. Sentirá un pequeño pinchazo. (I’m going to apply some local anesthesia. You will feel a small prick.)
– Muerda este algodón y no lo suelte hasta que le diga. (Bite this cotton and don’t let go until I tell you.)
– Necesita una corona para este diente. | You need a crown for this tooth.
– Ha salido todo muy bien. Ahora tiene que seguir estas indicaciones. (Everything went very well. Now you have to follow these instructions.)
– Le voy a dar una cita/ un turno para la próxima semana. (I’m going to give you an appointment for next week.)
